Hi George,

I believe sometime back you said LSWS version 4.x would have some menu option to customize error page displayed when URL or link is not found showing following which also displays "litespeed technologies"

Not sure I can find this menu option. If I understand correctly, when I go to LSWS control panel, I select

Configuration -> General -> ?

Is this the place? Do not seem to see "Custom Error Pages" menu option

Where do you see "Customized Error Pages" ?

When I go to "Configuration" menu option, there're two menu-rows, the second starts with "General" TAB

Which one specifically do you mean?

I believe or looking for one simple place where we can put something or dissable Litespeed from showing on error "404 not found"

Really, it's very simple to find.

Login to your LSWS Admin page.

Go, using the top menu:
Configuration > Virtual Hosts.

A list of the current Virtual Hosts you have configured on your system comes up.

Find the name of the virtual host (eg Example.com) you want to configure the custom 404 for, then click the 'View/Edit' link on the right hand side of the virtual host's name.

Then you will see a page called 'Virtual Hosts - Example.com' that has about 11 horizontal tabs on it like so:

Basic - General - Log - Security - etc etc

Select the 'General' tab.

There you will then see a section that says: "Customized Error Pages".

Click the 'Add' link to create your own customized error pages (404, 403 etc).

You will need to repeat this procedure for each virtual host.

Hi George,

When I add following in httpd.conf

Include "/usr/local/apache/conf/includes/errordocument.conf"

So that any site on the server loaded with wrong folder, displays errors from this doc that comes with cpanel

I then restarted both Apache & LSWS

But not picking & still showing;

404 Not Found

If you want to specify your error document using Apache http.conf, you need to check the documentation of Apache how to do it properly.

Otherwise, do it via LSWS as indicated in the post above.

Hi there Brr,

When I go to;

Configuration > Virtual Hosts

I also do not have a list of my 100 or so hosts or domains on my cpanel server. It's blank.

Then also when I go to;

Configuration -> select General TAB

here I also do not see a category "Customized Error Pages"

I was hopping to get one place like this, where I can use for all the hosts on the server. This is because even if the 1st option you suggest for doing host-by-host was working or I could see the domains or hosts, it would take so long to do over each of the 100+ domains per server.

Looks like I'm missing something small or the menu item in LSWS to use.

By the way when I go to Configuration & select the "General" TAB

The sections or categories I see are;

Server Process
General Settings
Index Files
HT Access
Expires Settings
IP to GeoLocation DB
Using Apache Configuration File
Apache Style Configurations

Is there where I'm supposed to see "Customized Error Pages" ?

I believe under here any adjustment is done for all hosts on the server.

Any ideas?

The "Customer Error Pages" are configured through Apache httpd.conf when use LiteSpeed with hosting control panel, the directive is "ErrorDocument".
Most likely it has been configured by default, just need to add corresponding files under the document root.
