503 errors when uploading pictures

I am getting 503 errors when uploading more than 5 pictures in Xenforo / Xenforo Medial Gallery. Some of the other thread mentioned to change server settings, so I did:

Will it work if you upload less than 5 pictures? Does the picture size matter?
Do you have Apache setup, will Apache work if switch back to Apache?
Have you checked error log and stderr.log for related log messages?
It could be PHP crashed. Need to follow the 503 trouble shooting guide in our wiki to find out why.

apache does not work either

It looks like not a memory limit issue. I wonder if PHP crashed. have you tried another version of PHP?

This is what stderr.log has

I've not tried another version of php, I'm afraid to try it as it might break something else which is working.

has you posted questions on Xenforo forum ? maybe they're experienced with similar issue and know the answer.

I did post on xenforo forum and their response was that it could be timeout issue.

in case of timeout, you can try add following
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule .* - [E=noabort:1, E=noconntimeout:1]

in document_root/.htaccess, see if it helps.

please PM access to your server if you're ok,
will try to upload 6 small images to see if can 100% reproduce the issue,
if can reproduce the issue easily, should be able to dig out the root cause.

can't find anything outstanding ... almost all are default values (which is good).

1)upload a single big picture, e.g, size=9M, will be ok ?
2)enable core dump, please refer
