adding .htaccess pasword on awstats

Is there a way to add .htaccess password on the awstats?

I tried .htaccess password file to /usr/local/lsws/add-ons/awstats/wwwroot but somehow I could still access it freely.

please refer:
admin console->Configuration->Virtual Hosts, select your vhost

then

Add-ons->AWStats Integration->Authentication Realm
"Realm Specifies the authorization realm for this context. When specified, a valid user name and password must be provided in order to access this context. Authorization Realms were set up in Virtual Host Security section. Here only use its Realm Name."
