Can you explain a bit more what this new WHM plugin feature is?

Could you please explain in a bit more detail what this feature is? It's quite confusing from the description:

New features in cPanel WHM plug-in: Added EasyApache Integration: Build new php binary through EasyApache will automatically build matching php for LiteSpeed, and manual switch between Apache and LiteSpeed while building php is no longer needed. Fixed directory issues in building matching php add-on modules.

The plug-in enables EasyApache integration prior to build matching php. I.e., with this enabled, the matching php in LiteSpeed will be built regardless of lsws is running. This saves a lot of wait time. In prior releases, one has to manually switch between Apache and LiteSpeed when building matching php and the build time is quite long.

I don't quite get it either - I never had a problem building PHP without switching to Apache before.
