cPanel + Litespeed + ModSecurity rules in Apache

I don't understand. If I use Litespeed together with cPanel do I need to activate ModSecurity Rules in Litespeed or do the Comodo rules work as set in cPanel? Under what conditions should I install this: https://www.litespeedtech.com/support/wiki/doku.php/litespeed_wiki:waf:standalone ? Thank you!

If you don't have a control panel like cPanel/WHM or other supported control panel. If you have cPanel and ModSecurity nothing else has to be done.
