How block some user-agent?

How can I block some user agent at server level? For eg mj12bot?

ModSecurity + optional LiteSpeed/Commodo ModSecurity rule set, but each UA you want to block must me added by hand.

If you have cPanel ConfigServer Security & Firewall is recommended, because CSF supports ModSecurity.

I know it's possible to do using Firefox but I cannot for the life of me work out how to block sending my user agent to specific websites...
