How do I disable Directory Indexing?

I want to secure my folders without a defined index file, but litespeed doesn't seem to be accepting the configuration change.

I'm using the cpanel version. I go into admin web console and set directory index as follows:

Index Files index.html, index.php, index.php5, index.htm
Auto Index No
Auto Index URI Not Set

And I still get an index. Any ideas?

please make the change in /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf

either through cPanel GUI or edit it directly(not recommended)
