Has anyone else had issues with Litespeed failing to read .htaccess files randomly?
On one server, at random intervals, we see this in the error_logs:
[ERROR] [HTAccess] Failed to open [/home/username/public_html/forum/.htaccess]: Permission denied
We also see things like:
[alert] [client x.x.x.x] /home/user/public_html/.htaccess: Invalid command 'php_value', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration
However this normally works just fine and happens completely randomly.
Litespeed themselves were not able to find the problem, however I have a feeling they didn't bother looking too far despite paying for the support.
The issue is causing things like Wordpress SEO URLs and other mod_rewrite rules to fail and it takes clients websites offline until Litespeed is restarted.
Any ideas on this?
