https-Request Cache

Hi,
it seem, that https-Requests are not cached by LiteSpeed.
Is that right? Can it be activated?

HTTPS is not treated in any way special. If has been told to cache the page, server will cache it regardless it is http or https.

I do the same request twice - One with https, one with simple http.
The https-Request requires much more time than the http-Request - I think it is about 4 times longer for https-Request.

And I'm getting no X-LiteSpeed-Cache:hit header flag.

https is more costly than http. but you should see X-LiteSpeed-Cache:hit for both http and https.
If not, cache is not configured properly.

With http evertyhing works fine.
Do I have to configure something extra for https?
Because auf #2 I don't think so.

Do you have any idea, what could be the problem?

There is no special setting to https. You should just check how you set up the cache.

cache root and policy should be:
https://www.litespeedtech.com/suppo...:common_installation#web_server_configuration

Which application do you use? Have you installed proper cache cache plugin? Have you enable cache lookup in .htaccess?
Basiclly check your cache enabling process to see if there is any step missed.

We're running cPanel/WHM.

I will have a look, if there is any mistake.
