Image Optmisation with no plugin?

Can LS optimise images outside of the wordpress framework? I want to convert images to webp.

LiteSpeed is a webserver, not an operating system that can convert images.....

Thanks. Yes I understand that, but there is wordpress plugin by litespeed that does exactly this, hence my question.

LiteSpeed WP plugin doesn't convert images. It offers only a LiteSpeed service to convert images external. This is not an included function of LiteSpeed webserver.
