Increase server timeout

I am still trying to find a resolution to my server timeout issue. I have an application that I need to upgrade and it has to do it through a web front end. I have my server timeout out set to 18000 in the control panel, but it still stopped at 20 minutes.
HELP!!

Please provide more details such as application, lsws version, what kind of timeout in question, etc.

I am running enterprise 4.0.17, I am trying to upgrade Magento. I have my Connection Timeout (secs) set to 18000.

After 20 minutes I get a lost connection error

How is upgrade performed? Through shell script, web script (php) or magento connect manager, etc? 'lost connection' means your browser lost connection or something else? is the error from lsws?

It is the Magento upgrade script WEB PHP. Here is the error that I get

Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): Unknown error.

Maybe the server start during the process, you can increase

If it does not help, please enabled debug logging, then track log entries in error_log related with your IP.
