Is Open LiteSpeed taking the place of LiteSpeed Standard (FREE)?

I am very excited to see that Open LiteSpeed has been released. I am curious, will Open LiteSpeed take the place of LiteSpeed Standard (FREE)?

Before y'all do that... please make sure that Open Litespeed is fully .htaccess compatible before you pull the Litespeed Standard off the shelf. The fact that Open Litespeed doesn't support .htaccess compatibility out of the box... is a show stopper for me. Please keep Litespeed Standard available for FREE until Open Litespeed opens up and adds the .htaccess compatibility.
