LiteSpeed and Apache

Hello
I would like to know, whether it is possible give httpd port to Apache when LiteSpeed crash on a server.

I found one day that LiteSpeed crashed because of some reason. So all sites went down.

Is this possible to give the httpd to Apache when litespeed fails?

It is not possible to transfer httpd port from LiteSpeed to Apache, LiteSpeed does that during a graceful restart. Apache does not know how to take it.

LiteSpeed's watch dog process should never die and new instances should be started if a child process crash, the impact should be minimum. If you find that the parent process crashes, please fill a bug report.
