litespeed + apache vs just litespeed?

if we use apache with litespeed, its better result for speed load?
because i saw some site use apache near litespeed.

usually don't need run apache and litespeed in parallel, that's just slow down all the things and not necessary at all.

but there may be rare case only apache can function well and litespeed not cover it yet.
need review the details case by case. and litespeed is in active development, it may include the function soon.

(NiteWave's answer assumes that you are talking about running Apache and LSWS at the same time. If that's what you mean, then his answer is right. If you meant running LSWS off Apache configs, then the answer is that we have no reason to believe that running LSWS off Apache configs slows LSWS down. - m)
