mysql problem

hey folks ...

i just installed litespeed 3.3.3
where a apache is still running on the machine.

i plan to switch ot litespeed completly.

well for now there is some small issue .. that websites on litespeed canot access the mysql server (on localhost)

if i start apache it working fine ...

here some data:
os centos 5
mysql 5.0.22-log

apache 2 with PHP 5.1.6 (all working fine)
(mysql client api 5.0.22)

litespeed 3.3.3 with php 4.4.7
(mysql client api 4.1.22)


i think its somethings about the client apis and passwords but iam not so sure about this ...

the executed code is on both exactly the same.

You need to change mysql_socket in php.ini for lsphp 4.4.7 to match the mysql installation on your server.

ohh . yes thats was it ....
was all set to default ... i change to the only socket i found on the system ... and everything running ..

strange ... apache works without that setting ...
well whatever its up and smooth now ..
