C Corey Member Jun 22, 2012 #1 Jun 22, 2012 #1 Litespeed seems to ignore changes made to .htaccess in /home/user/.htaccess until a restart of the web server is performed. Is there a way to fix this? Changes to /home/user/public_html/.htacces work fine and as expected.

C Corey Member Jun 23, 2012 #3 Jun 23, 2012 #3 Hello, It's on cPanel servers so it is /home/user/public_html
W webizen Well-Known Member Jun 30, 2012 #5 Jun 30, 2012 #5 since your document root is /home/user/public_html, "/home/user/.htaccess" should have no effect at all.

C Corey Member Jun 30, 2012 #6 Jun 30, 2012 #6 DocumentRoot does not normally define where .htaccess works and does not work, at least with Apache. Even with Litespeed it uses the .htaccess in /home/user, however it only updates it upon a restart instead of live. Is this intended or a bug?
