Page Optimization Quota on QUICK.cloud

#1
Hi,
I use the LiteSpeed Cache plugin; my hosting provider, O2switch, has set up the LiteSpeed web server.
After making a few adjustments to my site, I had to clear the pages from the cache several times. The results are shown in the attached file. This isn’t the first time I’ve cleared the cache, but it’s the first time QUICK.cloud has stopped the process like this. I thought QUICK.cloud had a fast process with a quota and a slower process without a quota. Can you advise me on what to do next?

Sorry to hear that, @Fred17 . These pricing changes are being made so that we can keep innovating in a sustainable way. If you find that a monthly plan is too expensive for you at $5/month, you are welcome to continue on the Free plan. The Free plan has unlimited bandwidth for the CDN, but there are limits on optimization. We will be introducing Packs, which will work similarly to the pay-as-you-go options we currently offer. So, if you find the free optimization allowances are too small for your needs, you can buy a Pack, which gives you a lot of optimization requests, never expires, and is not subject to daily limits. We'll have more info on that posted in the coming weeks.

Let me explain. My hosting provider offers LiteSpeed Server for free, and I’ve been using it for three years through Quic.cloud (though without using the CDN). It came as a surprise to me to find that, after a few page purges due to other issues, I ended up with a queue that wouldn’t be cleared until November 1. I wasn’t aware of your pricing changes, and I don’t know if you’d notified me, but it felt a bit odd. It’s no big deal—I’ll adjust. I’ll see how quickly the 5,000-pack I purchased runs out, and then I’ll decide whether or not to stay connected to QUIC.cloud.

Ah, I see. I know we emailed all of our direct customers, but I'm not 100% sure how we handled customers who get QUIC.cloud through a hosting provider. It's possible we left that to the hosting provider to handle. I'm sorry it took you by surprise, and I hope that our new pricing model, will be workable for you!
