Problem with editing theme code in wordpress

I have a problem with WordPress, I get the following error and I do not know what exactly, probably something related to Litespeed's PHP:
"Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP."

This happens when I edit a theme in WordPress through the panel> appearance> editor.

Hello,
This may be not related to litespeed at all. Do this:
1. Stop all the plugins, clear browser cache and the if the theme editor is working. If yes, activate 1 by 1 the plugins and check when the editor will stop to work.
2. You can reverse the process by stopping 1 by 1 plugins and checking when the editor will work correct.
