Quic Cloud and CloudFlare

Hi all,

I'm lost with the DNS setup QUIC cloud / CloudFare
(i'm far from being a professional, but I understand main concepts)

I run a website www.example.com with a static.example.com subdomain on which the www uses the pictures and objects.
I've have a LiteCache Server provided by my host pointing on dedicated IP 109.234.167.54. (original is shared with other sub domaine on 109.234.162.153).

My Cpanel has following DNS entry:

I've tried to add a CNAME with @ as name and cxxxxx.tierY.quic.cloud as record but I get this message:
DNS Validation Error (Code: 1004): An A, AAAA or CNAME record already exists with that host. (Code: 81053)

Could someone tell me what to do (I didn't find any answer on Google ) ?
Should i remove the quic Cloud entry in my DNS host editor ?
Should I remove all entries of CloudFlare and Try ?
What should be proxied or DNS only ?
Will be my static.ars-goetia.com (with pictures, css, ...) managed through Quic Cloud ?

Sorry for the long post but I thought it might be good to be exhaustive

Hi,

You need to remove the example.com | A | 109.234.167.54 record, before you can add a CNAME on the same record.
