random users complain timeout issue

my customers are complaining :-

This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase 'Connection Timeout'.

it appears many times with users using vbulletin and vbseo any solution ?

admin console->Server->Tuning->Connection Timeout (secs)

atm its 60 seconds is it safe to to raise it ?

yes, raise to sth like 300 seconds.
