Redis installation

Hello,

After a lot of research, I have decided to go for Redis instead of Memcache. Server runs on CentOS 6 and cPanel.

Will the PHP PECL instructions shown here (towards the end of the article) work to enable Redis to PHP?

it should be ok, although I've not tried it.
if it's EA4(easy apache 4), cPanel will build it for apache and litespeed.
if any issue, please post here.

If running EA4, you will need to install redis for every PHP version you plan on using.
