[Resolved] cPanel mod_ruid2

Hi,

I currently use mod_ruid2 on my cPanel server to run apache as DSO. I want to convert to Litespeed, so would I need to re-build apache prior to this to use suPHP again?

if your current apache + mod_ruid2 works fine, no need re-build apache. just run litespeed cPanel/WHM Plugin
(http://www.litespeedtech.com/products/control-panel-plugins/cpanel-whm-plugin)
will do. it'll build matching lsphp according to current apache php's settings.

Just so people know: Version 2.1.5 of our WHM Plugin (included with LSWS 4.2.18 and up) automatically changes mod_ruid2 settings in WHM to settings that work with LSWS when switching to LSWS (and switches the setting back when you go back to Apache). mod_ruid2 is incompatible with LSWS, but you don't need to manually turn it off before switching to LSWS any more.
