rewriterule doesn't work in LiteSpeed but in Apache

Hi,

My webhost offers to system, one old with Apache and one new with LiteSpeed. All customers will be moved to the new system soon. So this rewrite rule will matters in time. Hope you can help me!

This work in Apache but not in LiteSpeed:
RewriteRule ^admin/?$ admin/index.php [L]

Please help me solve this problem!

I did test for latest 4.0.20, it's working as expected.

.htaccess in $doc_root:
RewriteRule ^admin/?$ admin/index.php [L]

$doc_root/admin/index.php:

<pre>
<?php
print_r($_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"]);
?>
</pre>

I'm a beginner so I have a bit difficult to under stand how test it with your code. But I will try to explain my problem little better this time.

the rewrite script works if I type:
http://mydomain.com/admin/

But if I type it without / it doesn't. Like this:
http://mydomain.com/admin

Both ways work in Apache.

Please do a "Force Reinstall" on 4.0.20. if still problem, may have to access your server to get more info.

Well I don't have access to the server so that's not an alternative. I will try to contact the support to see if they can help me with the problem.
