K khatfield Member Dec 31, 2009 #2 Dec 31, 2009 #2 That could be multiple issues. I'd recommend trying to stop Apache from a command line and then hitting switch. You could also have a hung process. I don't work for LiteSpeed so I'm not a professional at their product. Just speaking from personal experience.

M mistwang LiteSpeed Staff Dec 31, 2009 #3 Dec 31, 2009 #3 Do you have a valid license? or on trial? used trial 30 days ago? Use i386 binary on x86_64 or vice versa? Those are possible causes. Try start lshttpd from command see what error you got, check /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log.
