In case that we do not like to use the web admin interface and have to edit the configuration file manually, for instance we can use scripts to maintain the configuration file, thus automating important aspects of the configuration dynamically according to our specific needs.

Is there a document related to the syntax of the configuration file, so we can manually edit it?

Sorry, we don't have a document regarding the syntax of the configuration file.

The xml configuration file should be easy to understand, try changing configurations form the web interface, then reference the configuration file, you should be able to get familiar with it.
