Well I just about got everything set, Everytime I think I do something else comes up ;(. Anyway I notice that the error_log in users cpanel is not being wrote to anymore.
A lot of people use this to debug apps and such. Have I overlooked something or its not supposed to write to those logs?

This is indeed a very annoying issue. My hosting server migrated from Apache to LiteSpeed approximately two weeks ago, a clever move by the way, but since then, the error log in cpanel stopped working. It's quite obvious is a LiteSpeed related problem. To one of the admins or LiteSpeed engineers, are you aware of it? Do you plan to get il solved in the next release or do you know how can we solve this issue? Thanks!

Does anyone know how cPanel's per account error log works?
Does each vhost has its own log file? or everything was written to the global error_log, and each user extract the log message from the global log file?

I think it extracts from the global, not sure. Because when mine quit working I looked everywhere using slocate and everything and couldnt find any individual error log.
But when looking in the /etc/httpd/logs/error_log nothing is being written there,

Would also be cool if you got it to write to audit_log on security stuff so csf would work on mod_security ban. But i do understand youre not trying to clone apache here so its not a biggy

cPanel does not create per-domain error logs (just look at the httpd.conf). Everything goes to a central error log. From looking at the central error log there is not domain name or anything in it to split it up. I did a little googl'ing and found this:

http://faq.cpanel.net/show.cgi?qa=105295717209989

The error log page simply greps the main error log for the user's account name.

OK, I see. thanks!
Please try change the server level error log file to /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log from LSWS web console.

LSWS log format may not match Apache's, but anyway, the missing file error should work.
