What if IP address is known

What if IP address of my website is already known by the attacker & the attacker targets the IP?
Will this anti DDOS works?
Because in cloudflare, their ddos "protection" wont work in that case.

If everything should go through our anti-DDoS service, you can only allow traffic from our IP.
Otherwise, proxy based anti-DDoS service wont work if your IP was targeted.
