When a reseller orders a license through the API with a pre-assigned IP, the license will be locked to that IP and cannot be used on any other IP. If a user tries to intall a locked IP license to a server with a different IP, this error is displayed:

The LiteSpeed Reseller API 2.0 and above can change the locked IP, but lower versions of the API cannot.
There is no way for an end user to change a locked IP at the moment. The easiest way for an end user to solve the problem is to cancel the locked license and order a new one.
We are currently building a client area tool to allow a user to unlock their own license. Until that is ready, licenses that are locked through the API can only be unlocked through the API 2.0 and above.
