default lsphp no mysql

I didnt report this first cause I thought it may have been an issue with my server plus I was gonna compile my own php5 but i notice on the default installs of php, there is no mysql support compiled in when I go to php.mysql sites, always a db error. When I compile and install my own php5 I notice there is sql support.

May be a fluke on my servers as I dont remember if this happened before or after I done my own php5

You need to change mysql.default_socket configuration to where the MySQL socket located, it could /tmp/mysql.sock, or /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock depends on the MySQL server installation.

I have the same problem. I changed the socket location in php.ini, but still no mysql.

Btw, if mysql is supported, shouldn't the default ./configure in info.php have --with-mysql?

Yes, there is for later build of lsphp. do

cp -f admin/fcgi-bin/admin_php fcgi-bin/lsphp

Didn't help. Maybe I have the php.ini in the wrong place, or need to make some changes in Lsws admin, besides changing the socket location in php.ini?

In the info.php I see that I'm working on the right php.ini, so that can't be it.
