php on centos7

whats the best practice for php on centos 7
have just installed litespeed 5 with php 5.6.10 compiled with lsapi
all seems fine and looking to setup a long time solid installation

one question is I still have php 5.4.16 on the os
do i need to get rid, update or just ignore ?
asking as having 2 versions setup has already caused a bit of confusion

just ignore it.

litespeed web server will start lsphp5 5.6.10 to run php script, don't need php 5.4.16 on the os at all.
