    OWASP ModSec with Litespeed

Yes, you can ignore those errors. The OWASP rules are mostly compatible with LSWS. The rules that are incompatible will be ignored. Some of them will throw up an error like you have seen, but you do not need to pay too much attention to these errors. The errors tell you what parts of...

About Mod_Proxy or Something Alternative in Litespeed For Ghost Blogging.

Hi Pavan, Sorry to let this sit so long. Supporting node.js is something that is being discussed here, but it is not on our short to-do list. We do plan to support it at some point, but it may not be very soon. Cheers, Michael

[Closed] 503 Service Unavailable in WHMCS

Howdy Jacob, Yes, Zend Guard Loader has been known to have problems with LSWS. This is functionality we would like to add, though it is not on the immediate to-do list. Cheers, Michael

    OWASP ModSec with Litespeed

Hi Kamran, As noted in our wiki, we do not support all of ModSecurity, though we do support much of it: https://www.litespeedtech.com/support/wiki/doku.php/litespeed_wiki:config:mod_security-compatibility That error simply states that that particular variable is not supported. Many, many other...

LSWS 4.2.12 Released — Addresses New OpenSSL Vulnerability

Howdy all, We released LSWS 4.2.12 yesterday. It includes a lot of little bug fixes and functionality upgrade for specific use cases. The most important addition for most, though, is that we've updated the version of OpenSSL LSWS statically links to to address the latest OpenSSL vulnerability...

    [Resolved] Is Litespeed vulnerable?

For those of you that were waiting, 4.2.12 has been officially released now. The easiest way to upgrade is to use the lsup script: /usr/local/lsws/admin/misc/lsup.sh -f -v 4.2.12

Request: List of (Un)Supported Apache Directives

Hi, We agree completely. Our documentation needs to be improved. Our main concern has always been streamlined, well-performing software, and sometimes that has been pursued at the expense of documentation. The documentation is being improved now, but at a slower pace than I think anyone would...

    CENTOS 6.5 Load Averages: 13.56 14.99 17.57

Thank you very much. This is good to know. Best of luck in looking for a solution. If you are looking for a trusted provider, we have a number of hosts listed in our partners section: http://www.litespeedtech.com/partners/hosting-partners I'm sure you'll be able to find one in your area that...

    CENTOS 6.5 Load Averages: 13.56 14.99 17.57

That is probably for the best. They do not sound trustworthy. We would be interested in knowing which provider is using nulled versions of our software. If you don't want to tell us, that is understandable, though. Cheers, Michael

[Resolved] Enable "Anti ddos blocked IP" option

Howdy, He means that you wouldn't normally want to set the limits so low. If you set the limits that low, you will block normal traffic. Those super low limits are only as a "test" to show you that LSWS is blocking IPs that go over the limits. The "Anti ddos blocked IP" field refers to IPs that...

    [Resolved] [ERROR] serial.no is missing!

I took a look at the IP you sent me. You had used it with a trial license back in January. That used up your trial period, which is why the trial license is not working. I've reset your trial period. The trial license should work now. Cheers, Michael

    [Resolved] [ERROR] serial.no is missing!

Let's first try to solve your issue without logging in. What error do you get when you try to start LSWS? m

    [Resolved] [ERROR] serial.no is missing!

Hi Madhi, Are you using LSWS with this server? (You listed the web server as Apache above.) You do not need to run /usr/local/lsws/bin/lshttpd -r with a trial license. Just make sure the trial.key file is in your conf directory when you start LSWS. Michael

    [request] Litespeed ANTI-DDOS Settings

Hello, We make no guarantees about how long we will offer the proxying service or whether it will always be free. At the moment, though, there are no plans to charge money for it. Cheers, Michael

    Differences with Varnish

Howdy, We do not have a trial LSCache license at the moment, but you do have two other options: 1. Purchase the module to try it out. If you decide you don't want it, simply downgrade off the module and we'll return the remaing price for the month. This will cost you a little money, but it...

    Differences with Varnish

Howdy, Yup. Basically the same (except that LSCache removes one layer by being integrated into LSWS). The Unixy Varnish Plugin simply enables private cache with Varnish. The same is very easy with LSCache. In fact, it can be enabled in our WHM Plugin (under LiteSpeed Configuration). You can...
