    Heartbleed Bug (OpenSSL)

Hi, Upgrading to the latest version should defend against Heartbleed. Could you please tell us what makes you think that your site is still vulnerable? Cheers, Michael

Howdy all, To all our resellers who use the WHMCS LiteSpeed Reseller Addon: We've just released version 1.1! Version 1.1 includes: Support for selling LiteSpeed Cache as a module. Improved documentation with more use cases. Improved interface. You can download the addon from the WHMCS App...

Trying out LSWS - few questions regarding Cagefs etc.

You do not need to change any configurations, just be aware that LSWS will be running on one less core and that you will no longer have page caching (LSCache) available. You may not even notice the one less core, though. Just keep an eye on your server to see if having LSWS on one less core...

    New Litespeed 403 Page

Howdy, The thinking right now (though I have asked on Twitter for more input) is that we'll do the new style and the old (very simple) content (like I described above) in the next version. In the future, though, we will add an editor so that y'all can edit this default page. This is not...

    New Litespeed 403 Page

;) Duly noted. OK. Give us a little time to talk about this internally. (Though anyone else interested in this should feel free to chime in! It helps us know what people want!)

    New Litespeed 403 Page

Ah. That page is where the links on the new error page redirect to. That would not be the page that your users would see when they get an error. That would be the page they would see if they clicked "Powered by..." As always, of course you can remove the "Powered by..." part in the WebAdmin...

    New Litespeed 403 Page

I'm getting that. We're just so used to only administrators seeing our changes. We will certainly get more community input before making changes like this in the future. We're talking over solutions to this and will try to have something for y'all soon. One idea we had (as a temporary solution)...

    New Litespeed 403 Page

Thanks! We'll talk it over with the team. I think that a template editor may be farther into the hosting control panel realm than we ever want to get. (Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you get that from cPanel already?) Having an option of two pages, though, might be doable. Michael

    New Litespeed 403 Page

Howdy, Perhaps we were too cavalier. Let's talk this out and then we'll figure out where to go from here. So, first of all, thanks for the feedback! It feels like you have two main complaints (and these complaints seem to be independent of Jules' complaints): 1. You do not want a stylized...

Trying out LSWS - few questions regarding Cagefs etc.

Howdy, Yes, that is normal. LSWS is running from your Apache configurations. It is not using virtual hosts or listeners in LiteSpeed native configurations, but rather reading them directly from httpd.conf and other files. The same is true for the log viewer. Cheers, Michael

Reporting LiteSpeed being used for porn (2)

    You're very welcome. Cheers, Michael

Reporting LiteSpeed being used for porn (2)

Howdy, We believe it does make sense, because it allows us a chance to express our company's opinion on the issue. (Which, by the way, is not that there should be no porn, but, rather, that porn on the Internet does an inadequate job of preventing access by minors.) Sincerely, Michael

Reporting LiteSpeed being used for porn (2)

Hi Salamander, Unfortunately, we have no interaction with Global Net Access. This is an apt demonstration of the difficulty in enforcing this restriction. While we do not wish LSWS to be used for porn, it is outside of our limits (as a company of our size) to actively support this restriction...

Reporting LiteSpeed being used for porn

Hello Salamander, Thank you for reporting this. Our ability to enforce this restriction is rather limited, but we will contact the host. Thank you for your understanding. Cheers, Michael

    LiteSpeed and hhvm

Howdy, Thanks for the heads up! We will definitely take this into consideration. It's really going to depend on how much demand and usage we see. At the moment, we have other features in development that seem to affect more people, but we'll keep our eyes out for Go and may consider doing more...

Not possible to enable cache from web admin settings

Howdy, Does your license allow the use of cache? LSCache is bundled with licenses 2-CPU and above. For licenses below that, you'll need to purchase an extra module. Cheers, Michael

    LiteSpeed and hhvm

Howdy, Not really sure. We've never been asked this before. If Go uses FCGI or HTTP, you could configure it as a backend external application. If not, then we're not so sure... Cheers, Michael

    New Litespeed 403 Page

Howdy, You've definitely given us something to think about. We won't be changing this immediately, but we will be on the look out for people's opinions about the new error page. The last thing we want to do is upset our customers! The new design should be on all error pages, but the bottom...

Trying out LSWS - few questions regarding Cagefs etc.

Howdy, One of the techs will have to answer question 1, but, as for question 2, you can find a guide to using the cache in this wiki: https://www.litespeedtech.com/support/wiki/doku.php/litespeed_wiki:cache:lscache:setup-guidline Cheers, Michael

    LiteSpeed and hhvm

Hi Redstrike, HHVM-LSAPI integration is on our road map. It is not something we are currently working on, but we plan to start work on it in the upcoming months. You're not the only user who has expressed interest, so we know it's something people want. We're looking forward to getting into it...
