Apache is selected instead of Litespeed after reboot

#1
Hi,

I am using WHM on AlmaLinux 9 with the LiteSpeed plugin. My LiteSpeed license is a Web Host Professional (2-Worker) License (which includes LSCache Standard).

Strangely, after rebooting from WHM, the default web server reverts to Apache. Therefore, I have to manually switch back to LiteSpeed after each reboot. Why does this happen?

This isn't my first time using LiteSpeed; I've used it before on other servers, but this is the first time I'm encountering this issue, in this specific server.

I checked in the LiteSpeed Admin under Server Log Viewer, but there's nothing indicating any errors or warnings.

I use LiteSpeed 6.3.1 (build 4)
Code:
Apache_Port_Offset = 0
Thank you.

After further checking, I think it's related to an issue with my server that prevents it from connecting to the internet after being rebooted under certain conditions. Maybe LiteSpeed can't verify the license due to remote license checking, thus it falls back to Apache. So i think the root issue is my own server. Not litespeed.

And i think this issue is resolved. I will contact my hosting to fix the server issue :)

That absolutely makes sense, we have seen such cases before. If we cannot verify the license for any reason, we will auto-switch to Apache resulting in what you experience.
