    Interworx plugin

Howdy guys, Glad to see y'all getting involved. Right now I count five votes (though perhaps LicenseCart's vote represents a bit more). This is a good start. (None of y'all would be planning to buy, say, 50-100 licenses, would you?) We will be taking a preliminary look soon at what would be...

    Interworx plugin

Howdy Kynao, This is definitely something we're open to — we have a really good relationship with the Interworx guys — but we need more people to request it. If you can get a movement behind you (especially if some in the movement are planning on using it in more than just one or a couple...

Howdy, Send me a PM with your email. (In XenForo it's called "starting a conversation".) I'll make sure it matches the email your registered on OpenLiteSpeed.com. Cheers, Michael

    update 4.2.16

I do not know why the lsup command is sending you to the wrong URL, though. http://www.litespeedtech.com/packages/.0/lsws-4.2.16-ent-x86_64-linux.tar.gz The URL should be: http://www.litespeedtech.com/packages/4.0/lsws-4.2.16-ent-x86_64-linux.tar.gz The link on the site is correct. You can...

Hi guys, In the mass email I wrote the command wrong. It should be: /usr/local/lsws/admin/misc/lsup.sh -f -v 4.2.16 Michael

unexpected signal=11, a core file is created

If you force reinstall, it will save all your settings. (It would be far to inconvenient if it erased all your settings.) Cheers, Michael

    Open LiteSpeed with ZPanel

Hello Technoesh, Welcome to the community. There are no modules currently for integrating OpenLiteSpeed into any hosting control panels. If you use OpenLiteSpeed with ZPanel, you will still have to do all OpenLiteSpeed configurations from the WebAdmin console or the command line. If you use...

litespeed + apache vs just litespeed?

(NiteWave's answer assumes that you are talking about running Apache and LSWS at the same time. If that's what you mean, then his answer is right. If you meant running LSWS off Apache configs, then the answer is that we have no reason to believe that running LSWS off Apache configs slows LSWS...

    ModSec @rbl Operator

Point taken. The issue with that is that there are so many ModSecurity features out there. Right now, we have a very simple wiki outlining the groups of rules we don't support. In the future, though, it would be ideal to have a list of unsupported rules. We don't have time to compile this list...

Litespeed - Accept-Encoding: gzip issue - FB Open graph garbled content

And you've upgraded 4.2.14 in the last day or so? Please remember that we add bug patches continuously. If you haven't force upgraded 4.2.14 in the last two days, you should do that first to see if it fixes the bug: /usr/local/lsws/admin/misc/lsup.sh -f -v 4.2.14 If that doesn't fix it (or you...

    Does Litespeed LB support SPDY?

It is something we will certainly consider, but, at the moment, there seems to be more demand for other features. Sincerely, Michael

    About the license and CPUs

LSWS does not keep track of CPU usage itself, but you can easily find this information from a top command. (The LSWS process will be named lshttpd.) You can track it with a monitoring application like Munin. Cheers, Michael

I post a support ticket , until now no respond

Dear Mosab, I see that your all your tickets have been closed and your issues seem to be resolved. I've responded to the email you sent to sales@. Please let us know if there's anything you need help with. Sincerely, Michael

    ModSec @rbl Operator

@RBL is still not supported, though we will be working on implementation that should allow for support in the future. This is still a number of steps away, though. Without implementation allowing for processing these queries in a separate queue, this kind of rule would completely block the web...

    Directory directive error

Howdy, You can find a number of discussions about this on openlitespeed.com. We try to keep OpenLiteSpeed discussion there or on the OpenLiteSpeed Google Group. This is not a common request for LSWS Standard or Enterprise (since people who have Apache configs just use the Apache configs with...

    Private vs Public Cache

Hi Davo, You should give some consideration to the example rewrite rules Gary posted. Though they may not do exactly as you wish, they are a start. Gary is an expert on caching. I am not. As to your questions, though, I can give some answers: 1. Public cache is far more effective. If used...
